I am a visual artist, muralist and sculptor. I enjoy traveling to places rich in history and culture and then I paint what I experience. I have been a mural painter for the last decade with projects all throughout North America. Though my mural work still keeps me busy, I am spending more time in the studio creating my “sculptured paintings”.
My Degree in Art comes from painting thousands of murals and other commissioned paintings (though I do have a marketing degree with an art minor ). I have participated in art classes all of my life and they have been an inspiration to try new styles and new techniques. I always come back to the beauty of oil paints and stone. I love paintings and murals that feel like you can walk right into them. The stonework creates paintings that not only look like you are there but also feel like you are there. The texture includes another of the senses and hopefully takes you back to the history of what is being painted.
I want to create pieces that take you away to another place, and let you travel by sight and touch. I feel very blessed to even be on this journey and I really do believe “that all things were created by Him and for Him” and I try not to take credit as often as possible.
